Memory Compressor

Our memories are not as firm or solid as we might believe them to be. It’s well established that memory can both be falsified or altered, and our recollection of events may be more fiction than fact.

For this piece, I wanted to create a more artistic piece around the idea of synthetic memory. I took old photos and stories to create an interactive exhibition of memories, using image filters and procedural generation to edit these pictures to reflect the way time sometimes changes how we remember moments.
